Michael Blau

Michael Blau serves as chair of the Health Care Venture Practice and a member of the Health Care and the Emerging Technologies Industry Teams. Prior to joining Foley, he was recognized as one of the top 10 health attorneys in the country in his specialty by Healthcare News. He has been Peer Review Rated as AV® Preeminent™, the highest performance rating in Martindale-Hubbell’s peer review rating system. Brad Carver

Brad Carver is an experienced trial lawyer with a particular emphasis on surety, fidelity and construction litigation, products liability and toxic torts. He began his legal practice in 1980 as an attorney for a major surety company. Carver moved into private practice several years later and developed a reputation for top-quality representation in the areas of surety, construction, fidelity, commercial litigation, toxic torts and products liability.

Carver joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in July 2005 to open the firm’s Boston office. He is a member of the firm’s Management Committee. Carver is a past regional director and a past partner-in-charge of the firm’s Boston office. Previously he was a founding partner with the Boston law firm of Cetrulo & Capone LLP for 10 years. He is a member of the ABA’s Tort and Insurance Practice Section, Fidelity and Surety Law Committee and the Forum on the Construction Industry. Since 2005, Carver has been named annually to the Super Lawyers list in the area of Construction / Surety byNew England Super Lawyers & Rising Stars magazine. Steve Correia
Board of Selectman – Town of Wayland

As a selectman for the last three years, Steve Correia has brought a fresh perspective to the board with 30 years of finance, business and management experience. He has worked through many tough issues during some of the most challenging economic conditions in the town.

Correia managed and balanced tight budgets, in order to continue to provide quality services and affordability for all Wayland residents.  He has streamlined operations to bring alternative revenue sources to our town and has helped maintain the towns AAA bond rating, which few communities have.  Correia works to maintain a strong cash balance for future needs.  His past experience on the Finance Committee has helped him understand these goals and maintain consistency and continuity. Bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to the town is essential to its continued health.

Alex Sugar
Morgan Stanley Smith Barney – Family Wealth Director, Senior Vice President

Alex Sugar is a Senior Vice President and Certified Financial Planner™ in the Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.  He focuses on working with successful entrepreneurs and their families in developing and implementing appropriate investment strategies.

His experience comes from over 19 years as a Senior Managing Director in the Private Client Division of Bear, Stearns & Co, Inc. During his tenure there, he played an integral role in creating and implementing the firm’s wealth management platform. Sugar’s knowledge in investment management spans investment policy, money manager selection, alternative investment allocation and performance monitoring. In his present role he spearheads the due diligence process in researching, evaluating and selecting investment advisors and alternative investment managers.
