Phil Giudice

Undersecretary Giudice brings more than 30 years of diverse and expansive energy industry experience to his role as the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs’ (EEA).  He is the secretary’s key advisor on energy issues.

Undersecretary Giudice serves as board chair for the National Association of State Energy Officials, and is Vice Chair of the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative.  Appointed by US Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Chu, he is a board member for the US DOE’s Energy Efficiency and Renewables Advisory Committee as well as the US DOE’s State Energy Advisory Board, and he is a leadership group member for the joint EPA and US DOE-chartered State Energy Efficiency Action Network.

Prior to his appointment as EEA Undersecretary, Giudice was Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources. He served as Senior Vice President at EnerNOC.  He was also a Senior Partner and leader of Mercer Management Consulting’s global energy utilities practice.

Our speaker is a geologist with a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire, a master’s degree from the University of Arizona. He is a management professional with an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
